Senior Occupational Therapist
Medforse is seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT). This role supports children aged 0 to 18 years with complex needs arising from disabilities, within a family-centered model of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary focus on supporting children attending two Special Schools in the Portlaoise area.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team alongside a Senior Psychologist, Senior Speech and Language Therapist (SLT), and Senior Physiotherapist.
- Provide interventions within school settings during the school day and return to the base at the Spraoi Centre post-school hours.
Employment Details
- Contract Type: Full-Time (1 WTE, 35 hours per week).
- Reporting Structure: The post holder will report to the Children’s Disability Network Manager and receive professional supervision from a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be registered or eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
- Possess the requisite knowledge, skills, and professional ability for the effective discharge of duties.
- Provide proof of CORU registration prior to the issuance of a contract.
