Senior Dietitian
Medforce are delighted to have partned with one of the most prestigeous hospitals in Ireland to recruit a Senior Dietitian for an ongoing contract based in Navan, County Meath.
As a leader in patient-centered care, our client delivers expert dietetics and nutritional services to patients, bringing together skills, knowledge and expertise to deliver cutting-edge treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nutritional assessment and intervention to patients across various departments, including [e.g., inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, specialised units].
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead and mentor junior dietitians, fostering professional development and best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research as required.
- Deliver group education sessions and workshops for patients, families, and staff.
- Stay updated on advancements in dietetics and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical care.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure best practices in nutritional care.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior dietitians and other healthcare staff as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Dietetics
- Registered with CORU as a Dietitian in Ireland.
- Must hold the right to work in Ireland without restriction.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dietitian
- Strong clinical reasoning skills with the ability to manage complex cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
