Salary: Competitive, in line with HSE pay scales
Working Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Dietitian to join their multidisciplinary team, working primarily with adult and older persons in rehabilitation, as well as elective orthopaedic services. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing expert nutrition and dietetic care, contributing to the overall recovery and quality of life of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop tailored care plans for patients in rehabilitation and elective orthopaedic services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors, and nursing staff, to deliver a holistic approach to patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutritional interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Offer dietary advice and education to patients and their families, supporting their recovery and promoting long-term health.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised degree in Dietetics and current CORU registration.
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate experience, with a focus on adult rehabilitation, older persons, or orthopaedics preferred.
- must have at least three years of post-qualification experience, including a minimum of two years in an acute healthcare setting (Irish experience required).
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Experience in managing complex cases and contributing to multidisciplinary care plans.
