Psychologist (CDNT)
Are you a compassionate and motivated psychologist looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families? Join our dynamic Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in North Louth and play a key role in delivering exceptional services to children with disabilities.
About the Role
As a Staff Grade Psychologist, you will work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, intervention, and support to children and their families. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and social workers, to deliver child-centered and family-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and interventions to support children with complex needs.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide guidance and support to families, empowering them to achieve their goals.
- Contribute to service planning, development, and evaluation.
- Promote an inclusive approach to care in line with best practices and organizational policies.
Requirements
- A recognized qualification in Psychology as validated by the Department of Health or the Psychological Society of Ireland.
- Eligibility for full membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is desirable but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
