Location: Dublin North East (Finglas)
Contract: Full-Time, 35 hours per week
Annual Leave: 29 days per year

Role Purpose:
As a Social Worker, you will provide vital social work services to improve the health and social well-being of children, youth, and families in the community. This role involves a holistic, person-centered approach to service delivery, supporting individuals to achieve greater independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct social assessments and interventions for children, families, and groups.
- Offer initial assessments and referrals, collaborating with other social work services.
- Engage in early interventions and social action strategies, supporting self-reliance and empowerment among service users.
- Manage a balanced caseload, providing counselling, practical support, and advocacy as needed.
- Collaborate with other agencies and services to ensure comprehensive, community-based support.
- Contribute to community assessments, prevention initiatives, and health promotion activities.
- Uphold health and safety standards, including compliance with HIQA and Tusla guidelines.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: Must be registered with the Social Work Registration Board at CORU.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience with evidence-based practice and a strong understanding of children and young people’s participatory needs.
- Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage caseloads effectively, strong communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
- Character & Health: A commitment to high standards, empathy, and respect towards others.
- Additional Requirements: Access to appropriate transport, as the role may involve travel.
