We are now seeking a passionate and skilled Physiotherapist to work in our Adult Musculoskeletal (MSK) department.
Role Overview:
As a Physiotherapist in their MSK team, you will assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for adults with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. You will play a key role in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for adult patients with MSK conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing manual therapy, exercise, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and allied health team members.
- Educate and advise patients on self-management and injury prevention.
- Maintain up-to-date records of patient assessments, treatment, and progress.
- Participate in team meetings, continuous professional development, and service improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc/MSc or equivalent).
- CORU registration (or eligibility to register).
- Previous experience working with MSK patients, particularly in an adult setting.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Desirable:
- Experience in manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.
- Additional qualifications or certifications in MSK physiotherapy.
