About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive assessment, intervention, and support for children with disabilities. As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a key role in service delivery, ensuring the best outcomes for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized speech and language therapy assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.
- Support children in developing communication skills to enhance their participation and quality of life.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver integrated, family-centered care.
- Offer clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to junior staff.
- Contribute to service planning and the development of innovative therapy practices.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: BSc/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
- Registration: CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, with expertise in paediatrics or disability services.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a commitment to teamwork and child-centered care.
