Occupational Therapist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a Primary Care Network based in Dundalk, County Louth The OT will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, family-centred care to children and young people aged 0–18 years within a community setting.
The role will involve assessment, intervention, and consultation with children and their families, as well as working closely with colleagues across health, education, and social care sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessment and intervention for children with a range of developmental needs.

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic care planning and delivery.

Contribute to the development of service pathways, early intervention initiatives, and health promotion programmes.

Maintain accurate, confidential records and provide timely reports as required.

Engage in regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development.
Essential Criteria:

A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
-
Registration or eligibility for registration with CORU.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in paediatric occupational therapy.

Full clean driver’s licence and access to own transport (as the role may involve travel within the network area).
Desirable:
-
Previous experience working in a primary care or community paediatric setting.

Training in relevant paediatric assessment tools or interventions (e.g., sensory integration, CO-OP, developmental coordination disorder).
