Occupational Therapist
Medforce are delighted to announce that we are currently hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Primary Care Centre in South Dublin. The base for this role will be in Clondalkin, supporting a vital service in the Inchicore, Ballyfermot, Cherry Orchard, and Palmerstown areas.
The Occupational Therapist will be part of a very supportive, multidisciplinary team as part of the waiting list initiative where you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments. This role involves a busy caseload with a focus on discharge-related and end-of-life care from St. James’s Hospital. The OT should have expertise in assessing and addressing the unique needs of elderly individuals, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life through therapeutic interventions.
This is a full time, 35 hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunities.
Requirements:
- Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registered with CORU.
- Holds a full driving license and has access to their own car.
- A strong leader with the ability to manage a high-demand service and contribute to reducing waiting lists.
