Occupational Therapist

Our client’s busy Children’s Disability Service in Portlaoise is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join them in providing high-quality care to children with a range of developmental needs.
In this role, you’ll assess, plan, and deliver essential occupational therapy for children with complex needs. As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll work with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other specialists to develop holistic, child-centered care plans. Staff Grades will be offered extensive training and induction coupled with excellent support and supervision.
This is a full time, 35 hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunties.

Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with CORU.
- Experience: For Staff Grade, experience working with children in a disability setting is preferred but not required. For Senior Grade, a minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate experience in a paediatric or disability setting is essential.
- Skills: Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a compassionate, family-centered approach.
