Our client is seeking a Staff Grade Dietitian to join their multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality nutritional care for adults with neuropsychiatric conditions, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s Disease, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.
About the Role:
As a Staff Grade Dietitian, you will provide comprehensive dietetic services to adults in long-term care, supporting their nutritional needs and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred, evidence-based interventions in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Dietitian:
- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
- Support individuals with neurodisabilities and complex mental health needs
- Manage enteral feeding regimens and provide guidance on therapeutic diets
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote integrated care
- Participate in service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
Essential Criteria for the Dietitian:
- CORU registration as a Dietitian
- Minimum 1.5 years’ post-qualification experience
- Experience in neurodisability and mental health dietetics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
