Job Description:

 Your responsibilities will include:

• Consultation: Provide expert consultation in your area of specialization, at the request of other Consultants, for their patients.

• Supervision: Oversee and take responsibility for the diagnosis, treatment, and care provided by Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors (NCHDs) for patients under your care.

• Clinical Audit & Risk Management: Participate in clinical audits and proactive risk management while ensuring all necessary data and information are collected in compliance with regulatory, statutory, and corporate policies.

• Service Delivery Management: Contribute to data collection to support service planning and management and validate the delivery of duties and functions.

• Teaching & Education: Participate in teaching and conference activities, including undergraduate and postgraduate education, and assist in training medical, nursing, and other staff.

• Patient Care Efficiency: Ensure that duties are performed in a way that minimizes patient delays and avoids service disruptions.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent.
• Registration: Current, relevant registration with the Irish Medical Council.
