Clinical Specialist Sonographer
Medforce are recruiting a Clinical Specialist Sonographer for a national leader of radiology services in County Cork.
The Clinical Specialist Sonographer will head our client’s Ultrasound service. This is a key role in a modern, patient-focused acute setting, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality diagnostics and exceptional patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent
- MSc in Ultrasound (essential)
- CORU registered
- Minimum 6 years’ ultrasound experience
- Strong communication, clinical leadership, and IT skills
Role Highlights:
- Perform and oversee high-quality ultrasound scans
- Lead service delivery and workflow management
- Maintain QA processes and support continuous improvement
- Mentor and support junior staff
- Collaborate on service development and innovation
- Ensure compliance with all clinical, safety, and operational protocols
