Occupational Therapist – Mental Health
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist with experience in mental health services?
Medforce are currently seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join our client’s well-established, multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team in Limerick. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a community-based setting, supporting adults with a range of mental health needs as they work towards recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based OT interventions to service users in the community.
- Collaborate closely with service users, families, and the wider MDT to develop person-centred care plans.
- Contribute to group programmes, goal-setting, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional standards.
Essential Criteria
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and CORU registration.
- Experience working in adult mental health services (preferred)
- Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport (essential for community visits).
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
