Senior Occupational Therapist
Medforce are recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Team, covering Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior OT to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, evidence-based care to young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Senior Occupational Therapist:
- Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention for children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in care planning, goal setting, and family liaison.
- Support service development initiatives within CAMHS.
- Supervise junior staff and contribute to student training where required.
Essential Requirements for the Senior Occupational Therapist:
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in mental health or CAMHS desirable.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Full driver’s licence and access to a car desirable.
