Physiotherapist
Medforce are recruiting both Staff Grade and Senior Physiotherapists to join the Geriatric and Neurorehabilitation Services in Galway. These are excellent opportunities for motivated physiotherapists to work within a specialist team, providing high-quality care to patients in both geriatric and neurorehabilitation settings.
Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist:
- Deliver physiotherapy assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for patients in geriatric and neurorehabilitation services.
- Support patients in regaining independence, mobility, and quality of life following illness, injury, or age-related decline.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic and person-centred care.
- Contribute to service development and best practice initiatives.
- For senior physiotherapists: provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and support to staff grade colleagues and students.
Requirements for the Physiotherapist:
- A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
- CORU registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience working in geriatric and/or neurorehabilitation settings (essential).
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- For senior physiotherapists: minimum 3 years post-qualification experience with proven ability to manage complex caseloads and support junior staff.
